Nuovo anno, nuove idee, covate ed infine realizzate...!!!

Nell'autunno scorso, al tempo delle potature, mi fu regalato un bel pezzo d'ulivo, sul momento intuivo che sarebbe stato un bel materiale, ma non sapevo ancora in che modo lo avrei utilizzato, lo riposi quindi nell'armadietto, dove è rimasto per tutto l'inverno e buona parte della primavera, per una stagionatura ancora migliore.

A marzo il fortunato incontro con Mike Buriak , del quale in seguito ( a canna finita ) parlerò con buona profusione , che mi ha permesso di entrare in possesso di un bel grezzo in Fiberglass.

Con la canna in mano, ovviamente ecco la necessità di un novo reel seat, portamulinello. 

Ecco la scintilla !!!

Dunque... fuori l'ulivo dal buio dell'armadietto... via al taglio... la tornitura e in fine la lucidatura !!!

Il metallo, l'hardware come va di moda dire, mi stava antipatico doverlo comperare in america e allora mi son fatto pure quello, rimediato un bel tubolare in alluminio AA6082, Anticorrodal tanto per intenderci, tornito e lucidato, di contro, essendo un tubolare necessitava di un "tappo", in senso filologico mi è sembrata buona cosa realizzarlo con del rubicondo vetroresina.

Ed in fine la parte ludica, ed quindi ecco nata la serie 2014 di MOBIUS ROD.

New year, new ideas, hatched and finally realized ...!
Last fall, at the time of pruning, I was given a beautiful piece of olive tree, the moment I sensed that it would be a good material, but I did not know how I would have used, so I put it in the cabinet, where it is remained throughout the winter and most of spring, for a maturing even better.
In March, the chance meeting with Mike Buriak, which later on (at rod biulding end) I will speak with good profusion, which allowed me to get hold of a pretty Fiberglass blank.With the rod in the hand, of course, here is the need for a scratch reel seat, reel.That's the spark!
So ... out of the olive tree from the dark cabinet away ... cut ... turning and polishing in the end!  
For the Metal, hardware as is fashionable to say, II was annoying to have to buy in america and then I am done as well as and then, remedied quite a tubular aluminum AA6082, anticorrodal so to speak, turned and polished, by contrast, being a tubular needed a "cap" on a philological sense it seemed good to accomplish with the ruddy fiberglass.
And in the end the playful side, and then here came the series 2014 MOBIUS ROD.
